I had right now no problems to install Firebug on my new "Minefield" :-)
Hmmm ....
I already had it installed (on "Bon Echo"). So maybe it's an upgrade
issue. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling later.

Looks like perhaps it was a problem with a version check on the web
site. Once I finally navigated to the page with the xpi, everything
went fine.
