As far as I know, nickserv set kill is disabled on freenode network.
He can register the nick and he can ghost people who are using the
nick while he's offline.
The only way to keep others from using your nickname is by setting up
a bouncer or another type of persistent connection.


According to a guy in #freenode he said that kill is disabled.

What would be a bouncer I tried psybnc but that didn't work well only accepted my password I set for it half of the time.
