I'm trying to password protect my entire site, but leave the URI /ping open for the load balancer healthcheck. Here is my configuration: SetEnvIf Request_URI "^/ping" allow_access=1 <Location /> Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from env=allow_access authuserfile /etc/httpd/conf.d/passwd AuthDigestDomain http://mydomain.com/ AuthType digest AuthName "Protected Website" require valid-user Satisfy any </Location> This doesn't work. Requests for /ping are still requiring digest authentication, and if I go directly to the machine bypassing the load balancer, I get prompted for a password repeatedly. Entering the correct user/pass pair doesn't work, it just keeps popping the auth box over and over. What am I doing wrong?
