Thanks for your response. 
I think this is for java based code and i could not find about velocity in apache. 
we want to add a directive in httpd.conf or
http-ssl.conf(<Directory/> name </ Directory>).

We want to introduce a new feature in apache which is required by our company. For which we need to add a directive in httpd.conf or http-ssl.conf.

But I am clueless from where to start.
