This is what I needed in ./configure for proper LDAP support: ./configure --enable-authnz-ldap --with-ldap --enable-ldap --with-included-apr \ --with-ldap-lib=/usr/local/lib --with-ldap-include=/usr/local/include \ without --with-ldap-lib and --with-ldap-include, LDAP was still broken even though it was compiled in.
