The documentation at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_actions.html#script says that "Script with a method of GET will only be called if there are query arguments present." Is there any way to work around this limitation? I would like a GET request for e.g. http://example.com/user/foo to be passed through to the specified CGI script irrespective of whether query arguments are present or not.
Just don't use the Script directive then. ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /var/www/cgi-bin/ <Directory /var/www/cgi-bin> Options ExecCGI </Directory>will allow any file within that directory to be executed as a CGI script, no matter the method or the arguments.
Just make sure that what you put there is safe. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
