Is there a way to tell a proxy server to only forward requests using a particular method (GET, POST, etc...)? I have a web app with a front and back end server. I want the front end to pass along all GETs to the back, but reject all other methods. I've been using <Limit>, but that does not work. I would appreciate any assistance.

<Location /fs>
	<Limit GET>
		ProxyPass http://backend/fs
		ProxyPassReverse http://backend/fs
	</Limit>
</Location>

Won't work.  <Limit> isn't a general-purpose container.

If you use trunk (or httpd 2.3) you can use an <If "..."> block.
With 2.2 or below, you have to hack it with mod_rewrite
(or a script).
