Thanks Dan. I did that but I got the following error when tried to start apache afterwards:

httpd: Syntax error on line 70 of /usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.
conf: Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/mod_mem_cache.so into server: ld.so.1: ./bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/apache2/modules/mod_mem_cache.so: symbol cache_find: referenced symbol not found


It is apache 2.2.12 running on Solaris 9 in chroot.

Yes, see config.m4 in the modules/cache directory which tells the build
which files are needed.
