I have 2 clustered tomcat 5.5 instances running on Windows Server 2003 behind Apache load balancer (using AJP protocol) For some urls (I cannot get the pattern), I am getting the error on frontend. In Apache logs, I see the following: [Thu Aug 06 17:34:19 2009] [error] (OS 10061)No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. : proxy: AJP: attempt to connect to 127.0.0.1:8009 (localhost) failed [Thu Aug 06 17:34:19 2009] [error] ap_proxy_connect_backend disabling worker for (localhost) [Thu Aug 06 17:34:19 2009] [error] proxy: AJP: failed to make connection to backend: localhost In tomcat logs - no errors. Is there any way I could debug the situation? Any configuration variables to check on apache side? Changing AJP to HTTP does not change the behaviour. Thanks for any ideas!
