By subversion I mean... the httpd project has a subversion repository that holds the source code. somewhere in that repository is the files that are used to build the official msi's that are released by the ASF. I looked up the URL for you so if you have the subversion cli tools installed you can check the source out like this: svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/win32-msi/trunk/ You an use them as a base, I don't have much experience with installers.
