I have a weird situation here. I have downloaded Apache 2.2.11 version and installed it on Windows 2003 server. During installation I gave some dummy domain name and sever name, to which Server displayed an Error but started normally and I could see the page "It works". Then I have created a new file in "$Apache_home/conf" folder namely "mod-jk.conf" to include mod-jk.so module in apache for failover. In httpd-conf file I am trying to include the "mod-jk.conf" file using Include conf/mod-jk.conf Server displays an error as such: Syntax error on line XXX: .................... Its the same line where I wrote the Include command.... As part of R&D, i uncommented some of the Include commands already there in httpd-conf folder, but they seem to work fine... Can anyone exlain me the reason behind that.....Is it because I gave a dummy domain name... FYI- I only have work group configured for my server and not domain. What shud I give the details in domain name. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Syntax-error-in-httpd.conf-tp24232774p24232774.html Sent from the Apache HTTP Server - Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
