Can any one please help me on the below mention problem.

Please help me. I badly need to solve the issue.

Sayan,

There is no user/password dialog with the default homepage of a standard Apache for Windows.
There is just a page that says "It works".

1) tell us which version of Windows this is
2) turn off IIS
3) /after you have turned off IIS/,
  - de-install this Apache
  - download Apache from this page :
     http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi
Choose the version "Win32 Binary without crypto (no mod_ssl) (MSI Installer)" - when you have downloaded it and saved it to disk, double-click on this file to install it

It should install properly, and even start by itself.

Then try again with your browser : http://localhost
and tell us what happens.
