MPM Default in Linux

Hi,

I read Apache's documentation and would like to know: "How do default MPM
module in Linux ??" Prefork or Worker ??

I ran the command httpd -l and shows some modules:
  core.c
  mod_authn_file.c
  mod_authn_default.c
  mod_authz_host.c
  mod_env.c
  mod_setenvif.c
  prefork.c     -------> Prefork
  http_core.c

I compiled this way:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache

Other question. How do I change to MPM Worker ??

Thank you
Ricardo
