Hello,

i did some Tests with apache22 and mod_deflate in standardsettings.
With deflate enabled i called a simple phpinfo.php to watch what happens.
When phpinfo.php was processed by mod_php the content was deliverd gziped
but wenn php running with fastcgi it was not.
Ist this a generall difference between apache-mods and cgi-applications or
was somethig wrong in my setup? (i tried with mod_fcgid and mod_fastcgi)

Not a general difference.

I don't quite follow you Oo. ergo in your opinion my setup is wrong? typical mistakes?
