Is there a file (such as index.html) or another default document defined
on the second site?

If I recall from memory the error you got means there is no default
document and you don't have permission to give a directory listing.

:)

  It seems I misunderstood something... I created a new site
file for the new domain name, say www.new.com, and used a2ensite
successfully. The file contains the following:

    NameVirtualHost www.new.com:80

    <VirtualHost www.new.com:80>
        ProxyRequests Off
        ProxyPass / http://localhost:1234/container/app/
    </VirtualHost>

  I used a2enmod successfully for both proxy and proxy_http,
stopped and started again Apache. When I try to access either
website (with the new or the original domain name,) I get a "403
Forbidden" error:

    Forbidden
    You don't have permission to access / on this server.

  If I a2dissite, stop then start, I can access the original site
again. But I cannot figure how to configure the new site. I
don't have any clue. Any thought?

  Thanks for your help.  Regards,
