Sorry, I'm just a user of the cache modules, not an expert. But I never thought of the DirLevels and DirLength setting as controlling how many cache files went into a directory, that it just controls the structure of the directories. Perhaps the 32000 limit wouldn't exist if you were on a 64-bit system. Not that that may be an option for you, just throwing it out there. -Tony --------------------------- Manager, IT Operations Format Dynamics, Inc. 303-573-1800x27 abiacco@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.formatdynamics.com -----Original Message----- From: Brantl M. Can you explain why the mod_disk_cache happens to put only one *.data and one *.header into the cache-directory - regardless of the CacheDirLevels- and CacheDirLength-settings? kind regards Klaus --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
