But if mod_cache starts to read a file, and rm erase this file at this moment, a bad content is sent to the client ?
It would happen on a big website no ?

I'm using apache 2.2.9 and mod_disk_cache on linux.

Is it safe to launch the command "rm -rf /my_cache_dir/*" while apache
is running ?

I don't think that will hurt anything. You'll just start getting cache
misses, as if you were starting from scratch, until the cache is built
up again.
