Title: Separated user log files

Hi

i'm new to this mailing list, so i dont know if someone already asked this or if there is a solution out there.
i've searched google and couldnt find anything...

what i'd like to know is if theres a way to have separated log files (access log) for each user using the userdir_module in apache...
i mean, accessing http://somehost/~user1 would update an access.log in the user1 directory and accessing http://somehost/~user2 would update the access.log of the user2 ..

i read about virtual hosts, but i dont understand too well how they work.
i have only 1 ip, no domains like www.mydomain.com (i use http://myip/ to access my server pages).

some help would be appreciated :)

thanks in advance
