On my website I have a BMP picture that is 13x20 pixels. I want it displayed as a matrix of little squares. Displaying on Win2k with IE or Firefox, and on WinXP using IE, that is what I get. But on WinXP with Firefox, the picture is "smoothed" into a blurry mess. Is there a way to I prevent this?
Exactly as Dragon mentioned, apache has nothing to do with this. I suspect the gif compression of a 130x200 image consisting of 10x10 blocks would be not much bigger than your bmp picture. Just serve the correctly scaled image. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
