nopes... it doesn't work with setenforce 0 either..

SELinux. It's probably in enforcing mode (rather than permissive) and is
preventing you doing things you believe you can.

Try "setenforce 0" as root, and run make install again. Then to turn
SELinux back into enforcing mode, "setenforce 1".

Of course, this assumes you have created an SELinux policy to allow you
to modify and execute things in /usr/local...
