Also make sure, if you are behind a firewall/router to open up port 80 on the IP address of the local computer so you can view the web site on any computer outside of your local network.

localhost from your computer, or use the IP of the computer running
apache from another computer on the lan.

that is if you didnt name it something else already, then use that
hostname.
