One IP, several vhosts with distinct SSL certificates

I have multiple vhosts on the same IP an each one has a different
certificate for SSL, eg.:

* certificate #1 for vhost1.mydomain.com
* certificate #2 for vhost2.mydomain.com
...
* certificate #N for vhostN.mydomain.com

Unfortunately Apache always serves the first certificate, whatever the
requested domain is, so the browsers complain!

Is there a way to go around this?
