Apache2 and NT Authentication

I've been chasing this tail for a week or better, getting nowhere. I'm
hoping someone can help me out.

OS: Fedora Core 6
Apache: 2.2.6
Perl: 5.8.8

All I am trying to do is set up security on specific folders. Our network
is an NT 4 domain. I want the users to use their same userid and password.
I have this running on a RH7.1/Apache 1.3.23 server with great success.
However, Apache2 seems to be a challenge. I have downloaded and tried to
use Apache2-AuthenNTLM-0.02 and Apache2-AuthenSmb-0.01. It does not have to
be a seamless login. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
