Problem while compiling Apache 2.26 Modules
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Hi,
I am using apache 2.26. I configured apache using the following configure command
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-module=so --enable-shared=rewrite --enable-module=rewrite --enable-module=cgi --enable-module=unique_id --enable-shared=unique_id --with-expat=builtin
Apache installed successfully but when i checked for modules, mod_unique_id & mod_rewrite in /usr/local/apache/modules directory, i found them missing. Then i tried installing mod_unique_id using as dso module. But i got error
Warning! dlname not found in /usr/local/apache/modules/mod_unique_id.la.
See the detailed error below
/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs -cia mod_unique_id.c

/usr/local/apache/modules
If you ever happen to want to link against installed libraries
in a given directory, LIBDIR, you must either use libtool, and
specify the full pathname of the library, or use the `-LLIBDIR'
flag during linking and do at least one of the following:
- add LIBDIR to the `LD_LIBRARY_PATH' environment variable
during execution
- add LIBDIR to the `LD_RUN_PATH' environment variable
during linking
- use the `-Wl,--rpath -Wl,LIBDIR' linker flag
- have your system administrator add LIBDIR to `/etc/ld.so.conf'
See any operating system documentation about shared libraries for
more information, such as the ld(1) and ld.so(8) manual pages.
