apache 2.2 auth caching ?

Does anyone know of a generic auth caching module that can stack on top 
of any of the other various auth modules?

i.e. I want to be able to do something like this.

AuthCache On
AuthCacheTimeout 10sec
AuthBasicProvider cache:myauthmodule
