Hi Russell I have tried both things that you have suggested, and this is what I found : In response to 1), as I built apache using the package from http://www.sunfreeware.com, there is no configure option to be found. Is there another way to configure files like you said? 2) I managed to run that command after removed the "httpd -v" segment, but it made no difference to the problem. When i tried to run the command with the "httpd -v" segment, it gave a "Directory not found" error.
