Installing PHP module as CGI

Dear all,

I'm not sure this is the right place where send this support request, but I try...

I have a server with an Apache 2 installed, compiled as threaded MPM. I've tried to install PHP as module, but it seems very hard to install PHP as module while Apache is threaded MPM. PHP manual suggests to install PHP as CGI but I don't know how to do it. Can you tell me a way?

Thanks in advance.

Luigi
