Thanks for the answer. I understand from this, that before I compile apache with --with-included-apr, I must compile APR separately. We seem to have the source for APR in the apache source directory, but I can't find any instructions for how to compile and install or what the options are to configure. I checked the APR web site and couldn't find anything there either. Can anyone point me to instructions on compiling and installing APR.
