Hi,

Yes I am using apache on RH linux. My apology for not mentioning earlier.

I am not sure which files you are asking for ? can you elobrate ?

On my application server the context root is /base1 and /base2.

Let me me put it in this way.

Working copy on port 80 of apache:

http://aoxz1006.oavf. wholespectrum.com/base1/index.jspa

Application server in this case is: http://aoxz1004.oavf. wholespectrum.com:9081/base1/index.jspa

Now the copy which is not working on port 9191 of apache:

http://aoxz1006.oavf.wholespectrum .com:9191/base2/index.jspa

Application server in this case is: http://aoxz1004.oavf. wholespectrum.com:9081/base2/index.jspa

I can see these files at aoxz1006:/usr/local/apache2/htdocs:

[root@aoxz1006 htdocs]# ls
apache_pb2_ani.gif       index.html.es             index.html.pt
apache_pb2.gif           index.html.et             index.html.pt-br
apache_pb2.png           index.html.fr             index.html.ru.cp-1251
apache_pb.gif            index.html.he.iso8859-8   index.html.ru.cp866
apache_pb.png            index.html.hr.iso8859-2   index.html.ru.iso-ru
hello                    index.html.it              index.html.ru.koi8-r
index.html.ca            index.html.ja.iso2022-jp  index.html.ru.utf8
index.html.cz.iso8859-2  index.html.ko.euc-kr      index.html.sv
index.html.de            index.html.lb.utf8        index.html.var
index.html.dk            index.html.nl              index.html.zh-cn.gb2312
index.html.ee            index.html.nn             index.html.zh-tw.big5
index.html.el            index.html.no
index.html.en            index.html.po.iso8859-2
[root@aoxz1006 htdocs]#

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Lalit

Let's start with this:

I am assuming you are using a Unix Like OS (is it Linux?)

Are you sure that you have the files in these folders? If not just create a simple index.html file and put in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs folder and see if you can see it.

Then try this link,   http://aoxz1006.wholespectrum.com:9191

Subject: Apache error

Hi,

I am new to apache.

Can you suggest some solution for this problem.

I have an application on IBM Websphere application server and at the same time I installed websphere plugin for apache as well.

I am accessing one application on port 80 which is working fine.

2nd Instance of apache is installed at port 9191, which is giving issues. Now when i am trying to access application on port 9191.

for e.g .  http://aoxz1006.wholespectrum.com:9191/myemp

It says " 404 page not found ".

I can see some errors in error_log:

[Tue Sep 25 21:28:33 2007] [error] [client 10.65.165.13] File does not exist: /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/myemp
[Wed Sep 26 15:39:13 2007] [error] [client 10.65.165.13] File does not exist: /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/myemp
[Wed Sep 26 15:51:27 2007] [error] [client 10.65.165.13] File does not exist: /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/hello
[Wed Sep 26 15:52:32 2007] [error] [client 10.65.165.13] File does not exist: /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/snoop

Apache version: 2.0.52
DocumentRoot "/usr/local/apache2/htdocs"

Any thoughts ?

Thanks,
Lalit
