Hello mxc,

I have the same problem.

Now, I try it with an additional .htaccess-file in the folder I want to
protect.
My .htaccess-file includes the same information like the
<Location>-Directory, e.g:

AuthType Basic
AuthName "IT Intranet"
AuthBasicProvider ldap
AuthzLDAPAuthoritative off
AuthLDAPURL ldap://silver.abc.co.za/dc=abc,dc=co,dc=za?uid 
Require valid-user

This solve my problem.
