From: cyberarian <cyberarian@xxxxxxxxx> Is there any software or online tool available free for analyzing apache error and access logs?
I am using apache 2.2 on windows 2003 server.
Perhaps Microsoft's free Log Parser 2.2
From a Windows PowerShell's window:
PS> LogParser -h Microsoft (R) Log Parser Version 2.2.10 Copyright (C) 2004 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. (...) -i:<input_format> : one of IISW3C, NCSA, IIS, IISODBC, BIN, IISMSID, HTTPERR, URLSCAN, CSV, TSV, W3C, XML, EVT, ETW, NETMON, REG, ADS, TEXTLINE, TEXTWORD, FS, COM (if omitted, will guess from the FROM clause) -o:<output_format> : one of CSV, TSV, XML, DATAGRID, CHART, SYSLOG,NEUROVIEW, NAT, W3C, IIS, SQL, TPL, NULL (if omitted,
will guess from the INTO clause) See the above input and output formats from one Windows parsing program! Plus advanced users can write ( COM or .NET ) add-ons. (ADS, REG, EVT, FS - all OS system options) Also a lot of us here will be supporting mom and dad (and others) usage of Microsoft's new Windows Home Server (used for backup and restores and networking). Knowing Log Parser will help with this server's support too! _________________________________________________________________It?s tax season, make sure to follow these few simple tips http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Taxes/PreparationTips/PreparationTips.aspx?icid=HMMartagline
