Improved status page?

Hi,

I was wondering: do any of you know about a better status page than the
one provided by mod_status on http://myserver/status? I feel like the
"machine readable" (http://myserver/status?auto) is just the same thing
with less information ;-)
I haven't manage to find modules for this. However status info is very
valuable for monitoring Apache!

I've already started to add my own improvements like calling the page
and comparing results with netstat (Unix command) to retrieve IPs of
client and webserver (I'm using Apache as a proxy) for connections in
the "reading" state...
Other information I found interesting was the number of current
connections to a single servername (ie. virtual host).

Anyway, I was just wondering if I'm not reinventing the weel...

Thanks

Olivier
