There is more to upgrading than just installing the new module... You
also have to translate the functionality defined by the original
directives into the syntax of the new directives.

The important thing is to make sure the functionality remains the same.
You start by reading the docs for the original directives and looking at
their settings in the original config. This will allow you to understand
the functionality that is required. Then you read the docs for the new
directives and define their settings to reproduce the same
functionality.

Having said all that, it's usually easier than it sounds - most
directives will be similar and any defaults will probably be the same.
