Requiring SSL?

Sorry if this is blindingly obvious; it's been a long day.

I have a server set up to work correctly both over port 80 and port 443. 443 requires SSL, and that's working correctly as well.

How do I force all traffic to go over SSL, and http://my.server.edu to force redirection to https://my.server.edu?
