i have a server that i keep on standby with a "down for maintenance" version of my website. i would like to redirect any url that might come in to just /(my document root). could someone whip me up a quick example?
If a file /system/maintenance.html exists these rules redirect everything to it:
RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/system/maintenance.html -f RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !maintenance.html RewriteRule ^.*$ /system/maintenance.html [L] Whe you are done rename the file or whatever. -- fxn --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
