The nw? was an error I made when i changed the path info for the post here.

I love it when people make life difficult for everyone trying to help them ;-)


I dont have the 'Order allow,deny .. ' because auth is required for the cgi
directory...

You still need it.  See the documentation for the Satisfy directive,
which discusses the interaction between host-based access control
(Order/Allow/Deny) and user auth.  In the default case (Satisfy All),
you need to have permission both for host-based access (Allow from
all) and for user auth (either no require directive, or an
authenticated user) in order to view a directory.
