The current documentation for the AuthLDAPUrl directive includes the following: ldap://host:port/basedn?attribute?scope?filter attribute The attribute to search for. Although RFC 2255 allows a comma-separated list of attributes, only the first attribute will be used, no matter how many are provided. Some months ago I discovered that if you listed multiple attributes in above directive, Apache would create one environment variable for each attribute, in the form AUTHENTICATE_attrname I haven't been able to locate any documentation for this. Is this a standard feature of mod_authnz_ldap? Is it likely to go away (I hope not)? -- James Garrison Athens Group, Inc. mailto:jhg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 5608 Parkcrest Dr http://www.athensgroup.com Austin, TX 78731 SKYPE callto:jhg-athensgroup (512) 345-0600 x150 PGP Key ID: 0x22E8DA2A --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
