Hi Marc, I use logrotate and it's work fine for me... :-) I created a separate file for apache: /etc/logrote.d/apache /var/log/apache/access_log /var/log/apache/error_log /var/log/apache/ssl_engine_log /var/log/apache/ssl_request_log { postrotate /usr/sbin/apachectl graceful endscript } Fabricio. 2006/8/10, Marc MENDEZ <cnmm600@xxxxxxxx>:
Hi, I use rotate logs like with this line : CustomLog "|/usr/sbin/rotatelogs /var/log/httpd/access_adagio_aspe_fr.log-%Y-%m-%d-%H_%M_%S 5M" combined Is there a way to compress the old log with gzip for instance ? Should I use logrotate instead ?
