Hi,
First find the location of the the shared library libgcc_s.so.1.
You can use the command
$>cd /
$>find . -name libgcc_s.so.1
Once you find the diractory you have to update the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable.
Append the directory path as below.
$> export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:<the directory name>
To test the value in LD_LIBRARY_PATH use the command below.
$> set | grep LD_LIBRARY_PATH
It will show you the directory in the list of : separated directories.
Then start Apache and it should run.

Hey all. The upgrade went fine and apache starts up. However when I go
into the /usr/local/apache2/bin directory and type httpd -v to verify
the version, I get this error:
ld.so.1: httpd: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: open failed: No such file or
directory
Killed
I do have this in the envvars:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/apache2/lib:/usr/local/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH"
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Anyone have any ideas why? Thanks.
