That's not a bad idea... (Of course, semantically, it amounts to
unsubscribing immediately without confirmation for all unsub requests).

The idea of requiring a confirmation to the subscribe process is to
avoid that some nasty person maliciously subscribes someone to the list
so that they start to receive what looks like spam. Also, to avoid that
some mail-seeking robot accidentally or idiotically subscribes itself.

However, it is not at all clear that the same rules should apply to the
*unsubscribe* process. Is there really a threat that some evil genius
might program a mail robot to spoof all the lists addresses and
unsubscribe everybody? Come to think of it, maybe there is... :-(
