when i setup multiple virtual hosts on my server (freebsd 6.1, apache 2.0.58), how can i configure specific virtual hosts to disallow accessing userdirs? main reason i want to turn it off is its quite annoying to see my weblogs where each one of my userdirs have been accessed at the root of everyone of my sites. is this restriction possible on a virtualhost-by-virtualhost basis?
Adding this to your vhosts should do it. It works for me anyway. UserDir disabled Otherwise, go the opposite way and enable it only for those vhosts you want. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_userdir.html#userdir -- noodl --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
