I tried increasing file descriptors according to the FAQ page on this issue. Did not work. I have since removed about 10-15 log file entries from httpd.conf so all virtual hosts will write to the default log files.
But after restarting apache I still can not add any more virtual hosts. Joshua Slive wrote:
