[users@httpd] tcp_outgoing_address [Apache Proxying]

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hiya,

We have been attempting to set up a proxy using apache, we have
numerous IP addresses connected to our servers and wanted to allow certain
users (depending on authentication) to be able to use each IP address.

Unfortunately we could not find a way to make apache forward outgoing
requests to the different interfaces; it seems to always go through the same
interface/ip. I know that squid proxy server has a function called
tcp_outgoing_address, thus am wondering if apache has a similar function
anywhere?

Am a big fan of apache, even though we have squid up and running I would
love to know how or if apache can do this.

Regards,

Shadi Almosri
