RE: [users@httpd] Documentroot does not redirect...

Since last Friday, the problem is solved thanks to the input I received from
everyone here.

I changed
"NameVirtualHost *:80
<VirtualHost *:80>"

To
"NameVirtualHost IP-address
<VirtualHost IP-address>"

My colleague had defined the first VirtualHost container in the httpd.conf
file for a test-website by using the '*', so every request was forwarded to
that address which doesn't contain anything.

By repacing the '*' with the IP-address of the server, all following
VirtualHost containers in the configuration file were processed.

It seems you can only define one VirtualHost container with an '*': this one
will then allways be processed when no match is found in the others.

A big thank you to everyone who responded to my question.
