RE: [users@httpd] Documentroot does not redirect...

In the HTTPD.conf, the directive 'DocumentRoot' is with the right uppercases
(allthough this seems to make no difference), I just type to fast in the
e-mail message.

First, spell the directive correctly... ie,  "DocumentRoot".

- Please confirm that you restart apache (at least gracefully) between
edits.

- Check you're editing the correct config (put a deliberate syntax error in
this one and confirm you get an error when restarting).
