Oh, you want this set in the httpd.conf file! Got it. Phew.. :-0

How, I have:

<IfModule mod_wl128_20.so>
  WebLogicHost 10.8.32.26
  WebLogicPort 7013
  WLTempDir /tmp
</IfModule>

I get the same error.

You might be right - I recall something about having to be root to
install Apache, but forget the details now.

I can try asking the Sys Admins to start it up as root -it will take a
while. You know Sys Admins... "get a ticket and wait in line" :-)

I think I should approach BEA at this time, even if we need root perms.
I need a workaround for a longer term solution. Can't be going to Sys
Admins each time I need Apache server bounced.

Thanks for your help though.

No only

WLTempDir /tmp

as

WebLogicHost 10.8.32.26

Yep.

Was just a idea ;-)

Can you ask your sysadmin to start the apache as root.

I think the apache/weblogic-module try to make the wlproxy_lock in '/'.

BTW: how about to use mod_proxy_balancer instead of the
     weblogic-proxy-module?
