I have configured my ip address under /etc/hosts.However, I couldn't view the webpage through http://127.0.0.0/ or http://localhost/It looks bizzare to me, if I can't view it through http://localhost, then I couldn't install the httpd related perlmodules because they require the testing.
Does the lo network device is up and running ?Do you have configured apache to listen on every ip address, or only its own "external" ip address?
