[users@httpd] Problem with ab tool

Hi
I am a newbie to this list. I am not sure whether this question
should be asked in this list. If it is not relevant please ignore.

I used the apache's ab tool ie., apache benchmark tool and I got a
problem with the calculation of the Requests per second. It calculates
correctly for some values and when the decimal point moves from more
than 4 digits, then I don't get the shift in the decimal place.

http://cepserver.tce.edu/~tcenetwiki/TCENet-Benchmarks/

Here I get a lower requests per second for Python benchmarks than for
the JSP benchmark.

I think the requests per second is calculated by

Requests per second = Complete requests / Time taken for tests

Going by the above formula I get different results. I want to know
whether is it a bug in the ab tool?
