FYI!
I found out how to compile with Gprof Setting -
In configure.in, put stmt -
 
AC_ARG_ENABLE(gprof,AC_HELP_STRING([--enable-gprof],[Produce gprof profiling data in 'gmon.out' (GCC only).]),
[
   APR_ADDTO(CPPFLAGS, -DGPROF)
])dnl
 
And while using configure cmd, specify --enable-gprof.
