Don't load mod_jk2, in fact, replace it altogether with mod_jk.If I replace it as you suggest, is the httpd.conf file the only place I need to make any changes?
You may have an autogenerated jk2.properties that you need to integrate into your httpd.conf file. I'd suggest pinging the users@tomcat list for help on migrating from jk2 to jk.
current flavor is 1.2.14 or later, released in the last month or so, as opposed to your several-year-old jk2 which is was deprecated by the tomcat project.Does this mean the version of Tomcat I'm using does not support mod_jk2? If I want to continue using mod_jk2, would I need to downgrade to an older version of tomcat?
Nope - mod_jk's worked with every tomcat I've ever used from 3.x to 5.5 and will be working for a long time to come. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
